- On July 11th, 2017, Mission Family Development was launched in 57 districtsof Uttar Pradesh by state Family Welfare Minister Rita Bahuguna Joshi and Minister of State (Independent Charge) Swati Singh, at Avanti Bai Hospital, Balrampur on the occasion of World Population Day.
- The scheme targets will be implemented in such 57 districts from July 11th, 2017, which have a Total Fertility Rate (TFR) of 3 and above.
