- On July 10th, 2017 The Board of Approval (BoA) for special economic zone (SEZ) under the Ministry of Commerce approved the Reliance Aero structure proposal for the development of the Dhirubhai Ambani Aerospace Park.
- Park (DAAP) will be established at Mihan SEZ (Nagpur).
Reliance plans to develop this park with a proposed investment of Rs. 6500 crores. - The park will be spread over 289 acres, and will set to become the largest greenfield aerospace park in the country.
- It will be developed in two phase. In the first phase, development will be spread over 104 acres and the second phase will cover an additional area of 185 acres.
Business at the aerospace park over a 30-year period is expected to exceed 2, 00,000 crore. - The construction at the aerospace park is expected to start by end of the month
The production will start in the first quarter of 2018.
