- On April 17th, 2018, a Memorandum of understanding was signed between the SIDM-Society of India Defense Manufacturers and GIFAS (Groupment des Industris Francaises Aeronautiques at Spatiales).
- This MoU was signed to promote a permanent framework for present and future partnerships and cooperative work between the French aerospace industry and the Indian defense industry.
