  • On 4th December, 2017, the Uttar Pradesh government was directed to re-operate the Vivekananda Youth Award scheme under the Provincial Rakshak Dal / Vikas Dal and Youth Welfare Department.
  • In order to re-operate the Vivekanand Youth Award scheme State Government has allocated a sum of 3 lakh 75 thousand rupees for the purpose of awarding units who will get first position at the district level in the financial year 2017-18.
  • Under the scheme, Rs 5000 per district has been allocated for awarding first place recipient unit at the district level among Yuva Mangal Dal and Mahila Mangal Dal.
  • Assessing the quantization of the activities / achievements of Yuva Mangal Dal and Mahila Mangal Dal on the instructions of the state government, the 10 points prescribed in the past have been reduced further and made more practical as per the requirement.
  • The two old points have been made more practical by reducing and increasing as per requirement.
  • Social tree plantation and family welfare have been simplified.
  • In addition to keeping old points of sports and small savings schemes, new points related to the establishment of blood donation, discharge, water conservation, establishment of library / reading room, establishment of organic farming, solar power plants have been replaced in the old place.
