- The 6th edition of SCO Exercise PEACEFUL MISSION is being hosted by Russia in the Orenburg Region of southwest Russia from 13 to 25 September 2021.
- PEACEFUL MISSION exercise is conducted biennially under the “military diplomacy” between the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states.
- The objective of this mission is to foster close relations between SCO member states.
