  • On March 21, 2017; the US government has temporarily banned passengers, coming from eight countries, carrying laptops, iPads, cameras and most other electronic items, traveling on some of the aircraft.
  • The ban was disclosed by the statements of official news agencies of Royal Jordan Airlines and the Saudi Arabia.
  • According to an American official, this restriction will apply on 10 international airports in the meantime, without any interruption in flight to the United States.
  • These international airports include Cairo in Egypt, Amman in Jordan, Kuwait City in Kuwait, Casablanca in Morocco, Doha in Qatar, Riyadh and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, Istanbul in Turkey and Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the UAE.
