On March 20, 2017, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Faggan Singh Kulaste launched the National Dental and Oral health Information IVR Portal on the occasion of ‘World Oral (Homecoming) Health Day’.
The toll free number for addressing oral health queries is (1XXX-XX-2032).
Information, Education and Communication (IEC) material has also been launched alongwith this portal and toll free number.
Main Causes of these oral diseases for being the leading health problems is rapidly changing lifestyles, wide-spread use of tobacco and increased consumption of alcohol.
