  • On April 17th, 2018; the decision was taken by the Uttar Pradesh government to plant trees under the ‘ Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MNREGA) under the Mukhyamantri Krishak Vriksha Dhan Yojana on the fence of the private farm.
  • Plantation of good quality bamboo and shade, fruit and multi-year medicinal tree species which are approved in MNREGA scheme, will be done under the scheme.

  • 1-10 eligible beneficiary families will be benefited in a project.
  • The beneficiary will be responsible for the safety and maintenance of plants under the project.
