  • On 1 February 2017; Government of India and the World Bank today signed a US$ 201.50 million credit agreement for Third Technical Education Quality Improvement Project (TEQIP III).
  • The objective of this project is as follows:
    (1) To enhance the quality and equity of engineering education across several focus states in India.
    (2) To strengthen engineering education in India’s low-income, hill states and states of the North East viz. Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
    (3) To produce higher quality and more employable engineers.
    (4) To scale up post-graduate education, research, development and innovation at these institutions.
  • The closing date of TEQIP III is March 31, 2022.

  1. Sir do u have any official MoU documents in which the date end of TEQIP 3 project mentioned March 2022, if your have pls send me. Because as per your article you mentioned closing date will be March 2022.
