- On October 11, 2017, the first meeting of the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council to the PM was held in New Delhi.
- In the council meeting chaired by Dr. Bibek Debroy, a member of the Policy Commission, the status of the present economic, fiscal and monetary policy was taken into consideration and the main areas which were identified by the Council would be the special emphasis.
