- On 30th August, 2017, Director General of Uttar Pradesh Police (DGP) Sulkhan Singh unveiled the ISO-9001 certification of police control room of the UP-100.
- It is noteworthy that with this certification the UP-100 became the first Police Control Room in the country to achieve this certificate.
- ISO-9001 certification is provided by BSCIC, which has given the certificate to UP-100 after testing for 45 days for best service and quick response.
- Certification Agency examined the entire work process, which was found to be standard on the basis of staying with the Police Response Vehicle (PRV) in the office of the UP-100 and the Police Response Vehicle (PRV) in the work area.
- It is remarkable that around 18000 police personnel are deployed in the UP-100 and about 9000 thousand are employed at one time.
- DGP also released the handbook of UP-100 on the occasion.
