On April 21, 2017; ‘Civil Service Day’ was observed.
On this occasion, the Civil Service Day Celebration was organized during 20-21 April, 2017.
The main theme of this two-day festival was the creation of the new India.
It was inaugurated by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
It is known that the Government of India had decided in 2006, to celebrate 21st April every year as ‘Civil Service Day’.
Its aim is to provide an opportunity for civil servants to re-submit themselves to the citizens and to reshape their commitment to excellence in public service and work.
