  • On December 6, 2017, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Uttarakhand Government and I.T. Company, HP (Hewlett Packard Enterprises India Pvt Ltd).
  • This Memorandum of Understanding has been signed to introduce e-Health Center to deliver specialist medical treatment in remote mountain areas of the state through tele-medicine.
  • Uttarakhand is the 17th state in the country to adopt tele medicine through this MOU.
  • According to agreement, Company will provide tele-medicine services at 4 community health centers in Uttarakhand.
  • At these four community health centers, the company has facilities of about 65 types of medical tests and major and necessary pathology equipment and IT services and provided equipment will also install one each studio.
  • The company will deploy specialists doctors in the studio.
  • The doctors and paramedical staff posted on the selected community health centers will be trained by the company, to ensure the maintenance of electronic medical records and the operation of related equipment.
  • The company will further expand it on the basis of the success of the services provided on these four community centers
  • It is known that this initiative has been initiated for the communication of specialized medical treatment services through Telemedicine in Uttarakhand under Corporate Social Responsibility.
