MOU SIGNED BETWEEN HARYANA GOVT, PNB FOR LOANS TO GOVT EMPLOYEES

  • On March 30, 2017; a MoU was signed between Haryana Government and Public Sector Bank Punjab National Bank to provide loan to Haryana Government employees.
  • Haryana is the first state in the country to sign MoU with a public sector bank.
  • Under this agreement, the bank will provide home loans, auto loans, computer loans, marriage loans etc. to its employees in Haryana under its current credit plans.
  • On this occasion, Zonal Manager of PNB Haryana Zone, A.K. Dargan in Chandigarh, handed over Rs 623 crore bank drafts to Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
  • It includes home loan of Rs 450 crore of total outstanding principal, vehicle loan of Rs 86 crores and personal loan of Rs 87 crores.
