- During 6-18 November, 2017, seventh Indo-Bangladesh joint exercise SAMPRITI concluded at Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare School, Vairengte in Mizoram.
- The exercise has been aimed to strengthen and broaden the aspects of interoperability and cooperation between the Indian and Bangladesh Armies.
- It also aimed to work together in a counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism environment under the UN mandate.
