- On June 13th, 2018, the 10th Meeting of the Global Coalition in relation to ending lymphatic filariasis was held in New Delhi.
- This meeting was inaugurated by Union Health and Family Welfare Minister J.P. Nadda did so.
- India will always welcome newer initiatives and research to translate into the Filariasis elimination programme.
