- On 26, November 2021; Department of science & technology Government of India(DST) Indo-German Science & Technology Centre (IGSTC) launched the WISER program.
- WISER is the women’s Involvement in Science & Engineering Research program for encourage women researchers in R&D projects.
- It is the first-of-its-kind program which has been launched to encourage women in research and development by lateral entry.
- WISER programme will allow gender equality and the assistance of women in Science & Technology through IGSTC’s program.
