  • Agriculture
  • Under the “Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi” scheme, more than Rs 27 thousand 123 crore has been paid to 2 crore 40 lakh farmers in the state.
  • A budget provision of Rs 600 crore is proposed under the Chief Minister Farmer Accident Welfare Scheme.
  • 700 crores is proposed for the facility of free water to farmers from canals and government tube wells.
  • Women related shemes
  • The ‘Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana’ has been implemented by the state government with effect from 01 April 2019 for the empowerment of women, whose main objective is to promote the health and education of the girl child and to develop positive thinking in the society towards the birth of the girl child.
  • Under this, the eligible girls are being provided assistance of Rs 15,000 in 06 different categories. A provision of Rs. 1,200 crore for the scheme is proposed in the budget.
  • To tackle the problem of malnutrition in women and children, a new scheme ‘Mukhyamantri Saksham Suposhan Yojana’ will be implemented from the financial year 2021-2022.
  • A provision of Rs. 4094 crore for nutritional program and Rs. 415 crore for national nutrition campaign is proposed in the budget.
  • Ram temple : Ayodhya
  • A total of Rs 140 crore will be provided for the all-round development of the city of Ayodhya including the development of Suryakund in Ayodhya.
  • Kanpur metro
  • The approved cost of the Kanpur Metro Rail project is Rs 11,076 crore. A provision of Rs 597 crore is proposed for the project in the budget of the financial year 2021-2022.
  • Housing projects
  • Rs 10,029 crore have been proposed for housing, Rs 2,200cr for Amrit Yojna, Rs 2,000 cr for Smart City project, Rs 1,000cr for Mukhya Mantri Samagra Sampada Vikas Yojna, Rs 7,000cr for PM Awas Gramin, Rs 5,000cr for PM Sadak Yojna
