4. Enouncement of initiation of Bilateral investment treaty between the two sides. - Relations between India and Tajikistan have traditionally been close and cordial.
- Number of Indian nationals in Tajikistan is approx. 400, out of which more than 300 are students in the Dushanbe Medical College.
