About Indusfood II 2019:

  • Indus Food 2019 will be the largest of its kind food export promotion event organized in Greater Noida, NCR, Delhi on 14th– 15thJanuary, 2019.
  • According to TPCI (Trade Promotion Council of India) this event will mark 600 global buyers from 50 countries and over 350 Indian exporters and producers to participate at this World Food Supermarket in Indusfood-II.

  • TPCI(Trade Promotion Council of India) is an apex trade and investment promotion organization notified in the Foreign Trade Policy. TPCI is also recognized and supported by the Department of Commerce, Govt. of India.

Past Experience:

  • Indusfood-I organized by Trade Promotion Council of India held in early 2018 in Greater Noida, India saw participation of leading importers from 43 countries and 320 Indian exporters and generated an estimated business of $650 million.
  • This event made experience of unique opportunity on holding a B2B dialogue on 12 categories of Food & Beverage industry to Indian sellers.

 Indian Perspective Regarding Indusfood II:

  • With its success to expectations, it will encourage and explore new exporters and key products that will accelerate the country’s export and strengthen the economy.
  • TPCI is working to attract buyers from the SAARC countries, including supermarket chains, from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries including Iran and the Commonwealth of Independent States or Russian Commonwealth (CIS) countries to source their food and beverage related requirements from India.
  • A wide range of products such as fruits, spices, confectionary, agri produce, dry fruits and mustered and soya oil is exported to Bangladesh by North East region.
  • This type of event will discover new exporters from the North East region, including the Horticulture Department of North Eastern States.
