- Recently RailTel Corporation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT).
- These two has joined hand to work together in several areas to help expand telecom in the country.
- Both RailTel and C-DoT will focus on rationalizing the tech and equipment of communication networks across the country.
- It should be noted that the RailTel works under the Ministry of Railways while the C-DoT is a research centre that operates under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).

- RailTel CMD Puneet Chawla, on the occasion said that the synergy has been developed between C-DOT and RailTel.
