- On 23rd August, 2019, NITI Aayog released the second Round of Composite Water Management Index (CWMI 2.0) in New Delhi.
- It was launched by Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister of Jal Shakti, and Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog.
