  • The construction cost of this new integrated terminal building is approximately Rs 450 crore.
  • Supported by the latest IT network-integrated system, the terminal building is spread over 30,000 square meters.
  • On the occasion, the Prime Minister also launched two major development initiatives – Tripura Gram Samridhi Yojana and Project Mission of 100 Vidyajyoti Schools.
  • Tripura Gram Samridhi Yojana has been launched with the objective of achieving benchmark standards for service delivery in key areas of development at the village level.
  • The areas selected under this scheme include household tap connections, domestic electricity connections, all-weather roads, toilets for each household, recommended vaccinations for each child, participation of women in self-help groups, etc.
  • 100 Vidyajyoti Schools Project Mission aims to improve the quality of education in the state.
