    • On May 31, 2017, Jet Airways India Ltd appointed Vinay Dube, an aviation veteran with close to three decades of experience, as its chief executive officer (CEO).
    • This post was vacant for last two years since Cramer Ball resigned as CEO.
    • The Mumbai-based firm appointed only acting CEOs since then.
    • Mr. Dube is currently Senior Vice President – Asia Pacific with Delta Air Lines, Inc. – one of the largest and most profitable airlines in the world. During his decade long career at Delta Air Lines, beginning 2007, Mr. Dube helped grow the airline into one of the largest premium carriers across the Pacific, profitably expanding its Asia-Pacific business, entering new markets and restructuring its network, partner and customer base.
    • As CEO of Jet Airways, Dube will be responsible for strengthening the airline’s overall business performance and its position in the domestic and international markets.
