- It is a five day event starting from February 8th.
- It will be organised jointly by IIHR Bengaluru, ICAR-ATARI, Bengaluru, Society for Promotion of Horticulture, Bengaluru, BESST-HORT Technology Business Incubator, ICAR-IIHR, Bengaluru, Sri Sri Institute of Agricultural Sciences & Technology Trust, Bengaluru and National Horticulture Board, Gurugram.
- The theme of the National Horticulture Fair 2021 will be: ‘Horticulture for Start-Up and Stand-Up India’.
- Theme is aimed at promoting entrepreneurship among farmers.
- Event will be held online as well as offline.
- Farmers will also participate in the event with the help of 721 Krishi Vijnana Kendras and 11 Agricultural Technology Application Research Institutes.
- People will participate in the events through training centres of state governments.
- Through the event, the farmers can also interact with the scientists.
