- Union Minister of parliamentary affairs,Water Resources, River Development, and Ganga Rejuvenation, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal presided over the 2 day National Orientation workshop on National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA).
- NeVA is a mission mode project to digitize all legislative assemblies and councils and make them paperless. It is a part of digital India and makes digitization of all 40 houses including 31 state legislative Assemblies, 7 legislative councils and 2 houses of parliament.
- NeVa is approximately a rupees 739 crore project which will enable not only houses but government departments as well. This project had started as a pilot project from Himachal Pradesh.
