- On 18th March 2021, CM of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot has announced that Universal Health Scheme (UHS) announced in budget of state will be called Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Yojana.
Facts
- UHS will be launched on May 1 this year.
- Rs 3,500 crore will be allotted for the scheme in the upcoming financial year wherein cashless health services up to Rs 5 lakh will be provided to all families in the state.
- Registration for those who are not included in National Food Security Act (NFSA) or the Socio-Economic Caste Census (SECC) beneficiary list, will start from April 1 2021.
