- On January 20, 2016 the International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced MRF limited as a Global Partner for ICC events from 2016 to until 2020 in a function held at MRF Tyres headquarters in Chennai.
- The ICC and MRF Tyres completed a successful partnership at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.
