- On January 21, 2020, Union minister, Jitendra Singh inaugurated global Mega Science Exhibition “Vigyan Samagam” in New Delhi.
- This is fourth such exhibition after being organised at Mumbai, Bengaluru and Kolkata.
- During the exhibition, Science & Technology enthusiasts witnessed the world-renowned Mega Science projects and listen to eminent scientists at the National Science Centre Delhi.
- Projects were showcased by CERN, FAIR, INO, ITER, LIGO, MACE, SKA and TMT, under the aegis of Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Science and Technology and the National Council of Science Museums.
