• On 29^th March, 2018, the fifth Indo-Kyrgyzstan joint training exercise KHANJAR V culminated after a Joint Tactical Validation Exercise and a closing ceremony held at Counter Insurgency Jungle Warfare School, Vairengte.
• Two weeks of joint training that commenced on March 16^th, 2018.
• The purpose of this exercise was to provide training to join forces of both countries to join the counter-terrorism campaign.
• It is worth mentioning that last year this exercise was held in Kyrgyzstan during February 20^th – 5^th March 2017.
