- Jal Bachao, Video Banao, Puraskar Paocontest related to the conservation of water was launched on 10th July 2018, whose winners were announced on 8 august, 2018.
- It was organised by the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation.
- Ministry announced three winners for the first, second and third positions in this contest, respectively as Shreshth Sahu from Varanasi, Satish Mewada from Bhopal and Gopal Kumar Prajapati from Bokaro for the period 10thJuly to 24th July 2018.
- Prize amount of Rs 25,000/, Rs 15,000/- and Rs 10,000/- will be given to the three winners respectively.
- In collaboration with the MyGov portal of the Government of India the Ministry launched this contest with the objective of spreading awareness about water conservation.
