  • On 22 April 2019, Tata Consultancy has partnered with Department of Post (DOP) to modernize a network more than 1.5 lakh post offices across the country, making it largest e-distributed postal network in the world.
  • Modernization is being done by deploying an integrated solution that has helped India Post in equipping it with modern technologies and systems.
  • This modernization with use of IT will enable India Post to offer more services to the customers in an effective manner.
