- On this occasion Union Union Minister of Science & Technology, Earth Sciences and Health & Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan inaugurated Doppler Weather Radars.
- Radars were installed at Mukteshwar(Uttarakhand) & Kufri(Himachal Pradesh).
- Installation of state of art Doppler Weather Radars will provide valuable support to the disaster managers and to the pilgrims undertaking the pilgrimage to Kailash Manasarovar and Char Dham yatra.
