About Canine Parvovirus
- It is one of the most serious and highly contagious virus that dogs can get.
- This virus was discovered in 1967 and has rapidly become a serious threat to canine health.
- This virus affects the intestinal tract of canines and puppies are more susceptible to it.
- Symptoms associated with the virus include- vomiting, bloody diarrhoea, dehydration, drastic weight loss, and lethargy.
- Parvovirus has reported a 90 per cent mortality rate.
