- On September 4, 2018, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje launched the Bhamashah Digital parivar yojana.
- She inaugurated this program during Beneficiary Mass Communication Program held in Amrudo ka Bagh (Jaipur).
- Under this scheme, the state government will provide a financial assistance of Rs. 1,000 to Bhamashah beneficiaries in the state.
- Through this amount, the beneficiary has to buy a mobile phone and an internet connection.
- The amount will be given in two stages, 500 rupees in the form of first instalment for Smartphone’s and Rs 500 in second instalment will be provided for internet.
- Through this scheme, the needy families will be able to get information about government schemes on mobile so that they can avail of these schemes.
