- Ayush Ministry launched the campaign “AYUSH AAPKE DWAR” from more than 45 locations across the country.
- MunjaparaMahendrabhai, Minister of State, for AYUSH launched AYUSH AAPKE DWAR campaign from AyushBhawan.
- About 21 states are participating in launch activities in which more than 2 lakh saplings will be distributed across India.
- The campaign aims to distribute medicinal plant saplings to 75 lakh households across the country in one year.
- These medicinal plants include Ashoka, Tejpatta, Stevia, Ashwagandha, Jatamansi, Giloy/Guduchi, Shatavari, Guggulu, Lemongrass, Tulsi, Sarpagandha, Brahmi, Kalmegh and Amla.
- Ministry of AYUSHstands for Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga&Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha,and Homoeopathy.
- This Ministry was set up on November 9, 2014 and renamed as Ministry of AYUSH on April 13, 2021.
