- On February 17th, 2018, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar Launched 23 subsidized food canteens in Faridabad, Gururgram, Hisar and Yamuna Paar through video conferencing to provide healthy, nutritious and clean food poor and needy people.
- Under the Antyodaya Aahar Yojana, all the poor and needy people will get healthy, nutritious and clean food at Rs. 10.
- In these canteens, registered workers and all other poor and needy persons will be provided from daily food from 11 am to 4 pm.
- Every pack of 730 grams of food will include 4 chapati, rice, lentils, seasonal vegetables, yogurt or raita, green chutney and jaggery.
- Under this scheme, two-two canteens (total 23 subsidized canteens) will be opened in each district and district headquarter of ‘Gurgaam and Faridabad’.
