  • Under an UN initiative, over 100 scientists have joined hands to tackle the issue of misinformation around Covid-19 vaccines.
  • Under this initiative they will put their best effort to build confidence by busting myths and sharing information on the safety and effectiveness of vaccines via the social media.
  • The United Nations (UN) in this regard has teamed up with Team Halo in collaboration with The Vaccine Confidence Project at the University of London.
  • The UN through this team will tackle misinformation and misleading information about the Kovid-19 vaccine.
  • Globally, the initiative is supported by scientists who are involved in the race of coronavirus vaccine development across the world’s top institutes.
