  • These frog species has been discovered in Lower Subansiri district of the state by scientists of Zoological Survey of India.

  • The new species discovered from Talle Valley Wildlife Sanctuary (WLS) have been named as ‘Liurana himalayana’, ‘Liurana indica’ and ‘Liurana minuta.
