- On December 19th, 2017, the Indian government signed a funding agreement with the World Bank in New Delhi to get IDA loan of 125 million US dollars (equivalent) for the Skill Strengthening Project for Industrial Value Enhancement (Strive) Operations.
- The agreement was signed by Joint Secretary Sameer Kumar Khare in the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance and Hisham Abdo, World Bank’s Acting Country Director, in India.
