  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Nagpur Metro Rail on March 7, 2019 through video conferencing from New Delhi.
  • The 13.5 km long, Khapri- Sitabuldi section of the Nagpur Metro was inaugurated through the digital unveiling of plaque. This is the first phase of Nagpur metro.
  • The total length of Nagpur Metro is 38 kilometers divided into two corridors. Work on this project started in June 2015.
