- The list has featured top 40 philanthropists from 13 Asia-Pacific region countries for their individual noteworthy contributions to health and education sectors including 7 Indians.
- Important to know that out of 7 Indians, 4 persons are co-founders of Infosys Ltd.
- Infosys is the second largest software firm in India.
- Sunny Varkey who has pledge to donate half his fortune worth US 2.25 billion dollars as charity as a follow-up to the Giving Pledge Initiative, led by Bill Gates and Warren Buffet.

- The brothers donated USD 3 million for training of more than 4,000 people in tailoring across India. Beneficiaries include the 2004 tsunami victims and “ill-fated” women.
- They are founders of Whitcomb & Shaftesbury Tailors on London’s Saville Row.
