  • During his visit to Imphal, several projects worth over Rs. 1500 crore was inaugurated and foundation stone has been laid to improve “ease of living” for the people of the state.
  • PM inaugurated an Integrated Check Post at Moreh, a town bordering Myanmar. This Check-Post will facilitate works of custom clearance, foreign currency exchange, immigration clearance etc.
  • Dolaithabi Barrage Project was also inaugurated. This is a 78.75 m long barrage built across River Iril at Dolaithabi village of Senapati district in Manipur. This project was approved by Planning Commission in June 1992 and completed in 2018.
