- From 27th May, 2018 to 2 June, 2018, the weekly polythene eradication program ‘Polythene Hatao, Paryavaran Bachao Campaign’ will be conducted throughout the state with the help of public in Himachal Pradesh.
- On May 18, 2018, According to director of the Department of Environment, Science and Technology, D.C. Rana, the decision to run this campaign by the state government has been taken under the theme of World Environment Day ‘Beet Plastic Pollution’ of this year.
- In the coordination and monitoring of the Deputy Commissioner, this campaign will be run in every district of the state.
