  • On 19th November 2018 the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, inaugurated the Kundli-Manesar Section of the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Western Peripheral Expressway, at Sultanpur in Gurugram district of Haryana.
  • He also inaugurated the Ballabgarh-Mujesar Metro Link and laid the foundation stone of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University.
  • The Western Peripheral Expresswayor Kundli-Manesar–Palwal (KMP) Expressway, is a 6-lane (3 lanes in each direction), 135.6 km long Expressway in the State of Haryana. The 53-km Manesar to Palwal section was inaugurated I April 2016 by Shri Nitin Gadkari





  • The Expressway covers major cities such as Sonipat, Kharkhoda, Bahadurgarh, Badli, Jhajjar, Manesar, Nuh, Sohna, Hathin and Palwal.
  • He mentioned that in view of transforming India 27 kilometres of highway are being built everyday at present, compared to 12 kilometres per day in 2014.
  • The Expressway will reduce the pollution in Delhi and surrounding areas as well as it will bring in ‘Ease of Living’, along with environment friendly travelling.
