- Veteran afghan born Indian-Canadian actor and screen writer Kader Khan passed away on 31st December in Canada. He was admitted at a private hospital due to prolonged ailments and was kept on ventilator. He was 81 years old.
- However he was a very versatile actor and has enacted many kind of roles but he was mostly remembered for her comic character roles especially in collaboration with actor Govinda during 90s. He was born in Kabul, Afghanistan in 1937 in an ethnic pashtun of the kakar tribe.
