- On 21st – 22nd February 2018, Uttar Pradesh Investors Summit was organized in Lucknow city by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
- The two day event aims to showcase the investment opportunities and potential in the various sectors of Uttar Pradesh.
- Netherlands, Japan, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Finland, Mauritius and Thailand were the participant partner of the summit.
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the ‘Uttar Pradesh Investors Summit’. On this occasion, he launched the ‘Investment Friends’ Portal.
- This is the country’s first industrial portal.
- The Prime Minister announced the establishment of one of the two defence industrial corridors mentioned in the budget, at Bundelkhand (Western UP).
