- On October 29, 2018; the country’s first engine-less train, Known as Train 18, will be tested on the tracks. After trial outside factory it will be handed over to Research Design and Standards Organisation (RDSO) for further trials. Train 18 is developed by Chennai-based Integral Coach Factory in 18 months.
