• As a nodal ministry, the India Mobile Congress was organized by the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) under the aegis of the Department of Telecommunications.
• Meanwhile, industry associations and Internet companies of mobile and telecommunications operators conducted exhibitions and discussed the importance of global and Indian telecommunications mobile, internet connectivity and digital service sector.
• Union Minister of State for Communications (Independent Charge) Manoj Sinha inaugurated the three days India Mobile Congress-2017.
