  • On 23 June, 2016 Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the appointment of Anil Kumble as the Head Coach of the Indian Cricket Team.
  • The decision of his selection was taken in the BCCI working committee meeting in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.
